Hey everybody,



I just want to add this short blog entry to talk about, as the title states, the earliest memories of a friendship between Lil Missie and me.
It all started when we all  got stuck in the same class taught by one of the strictest and biased teacher of all time. On the point of this teacher, i'm relieved to announce that Grim had finaly beaten him with the help of Charlie. People who were there should remember. Crazy laughter ensued.

Anyway the group kinda got closer together with one anime. Samurai X, which was the rage back then. I can remember Lil Missie talking about it everday at the back of the class. Completely engrossed in Kenshin and Kaoru within well written poems and stories.
Well after our kring was formed, she did at one point threaten silence and the ruler if we didn't watch it.
I have to admit that it took me a while to watch it, at the time i wasn't really into anime. I thought it was childish, something only kids watch, and that it only contains blue cats called Doremon.

Boy was i wrong, i managed to watch it and i have to say, i was really blown away at the complexity and mature content and plot of this anime.
Which goes over a infamous assassin who has traded his killing ways as a wanderer helping people with his reverse blade katana, in historical Japan.

So i was now hooked onto this wonderful cartoon and i can remember sitting infront of the tv strictly at 6.30pm to watch two episodes on AXN.
It always started with this opening song, which i don't think i'll forget. When i watch it, it brings be back to the same time in year 9 and invokes the feeling of friendship i had back then.
 

Anyway, Lil Missie brought us together (more like forced :p) by starting forums, just to see if Madman had finaly decided to switch on his TV at the right moment.
Since then, during the course of year 9,10 and 11 we have been a tight group, achieving mischief and teacher insanity.
(Teachers, you know who you are! coughGUHAcough)

Hey Guys...



First thing i want to say is that i'm pretty shocked that michael jackson has died. I always thought that his story would last forever, with the same consistancy of bad new and good news.. He has done a lot of things for children all around the world, he was the Brangalina of the 90's, to me.. He has also been in some negative news in the last few years. i have to admit, that's the only things that i have read about michael in the last few years.
But i hope he finds peace. RIP



His music has been also a big influence in my life, since i was small. He was the musician that i listened to during the 90s, when i was less than 10 years old. Hits like Bad, Thriller, Billy Jean. Then much later stuff from his later album, like You Rock My World and Whatever Happens (with Santana).
His music will always stay in my library. Hell even my first LP was Off the Wall.. My first single..
Awesome!!

I heard about his death when i was at the pub, and someone came over to us and said MJ is dead.. We didn't believe it.. Took a couple of hours and BBC news, before it really pushed through..
God Bless His Soul.

Anyway, on a little lighter note i went to Scheveningen. For those who don't know where that is, it's right next to The Hague and it has a beach.
I went with Garreth first and then Johnathan came later to meet up with us. We watched the sunset and drank wine. I thought it was awesome..
So if anyone is going to come over here to visit me. That's where i'm going to take you, the atmosphere is pretty cool. I love it, i've been there many times alone, just to walk on the beach.. It's great.



Garreth and i passed by a Casino and we decided to go in and see what it is like. You know, maybe play some blackjack. But when we got in, we just saw a bunch of stupid coin machines that don't do anything but eat your money.
You see a bunch of grannies with a bucket full coins.
So we went to the casino at the end of the pier, we found the exact same thing.
It was fucked up.. i expected James Bond, Oceans 13 stuff.

But apparently your supposed to go to the bigger casino down the road.. So yeah.. I'll try that next...

But further there was a party in the garden to celebrate the longest day in Summer. With a nice green cross in the garden.

Hello everybody!! (who still read my blog, yay)

Anyway, i was watching My wife and kids when i saw a little picture of the stig on BBC weorld news. So i diceded to check it out.
When i actually got the the page, i read the headlines and i got immideiatly excited to the point where i was bouncing in my bed under my blanket. I sleep late, student habit.

Anyway.. Headlines saying..
"STIG TAKES OFF HELMET!!!"



And i totally don't want to spoil it, so if you don't want to know, stop reading now.

If find the Stig really cool, and if i didn't have a hero already. The Stig would be it.

I spend all night thinking up weird things to do with killer Ducks and drug addicted Swans and what happens... Shit.. that's what happened.

But in just add note.. the Killer Ducks are coming.. Watch out, they killed 9 already!! and they're not cute mind..

Anyway, leaving credits. Was rejected by another house again.. Finding a room is really a bitch...
Tried to study.. i think i just about made it to the point where i don't care. Even though my life depends on it.. What happened to the good old days of neglect.
Wait.. they're still here.. just dwindeling as the date looms towards the coming begining of Uni.

Hey guys.. short update..

All because of a couple cute dogs.. Most dogs can leave me hanging in time...

Anyway, so i was on the way to Den Haag to walk around when on the tram i turned my head while listening to Living Blues and i saw this huge dog sitting next to its owner. German Sheperd and i swear it had the cutest head i've ever seen!! Wide head and soft eyes.. What i found really nice was that it was really calm even thought the tram jerked around and people crowded around it..
It looked at me for a while.. Eye Contact.... lol

I walked through den Haag, it was pretty cool. It was Roze Zaterdag, and the festivities where really interesting and fun to look at. It's part of the Den Haag (The Hague) festivals. A whole bunch of cool things that i might miss.. To bad... but i'll try to pick out the best ones and try to go.

I saw some more dogs on the way, funnily enough brown labs seem to be the trend.. But they are also cool, cuz they have brown hair, brown eyes, brown ears, nose.. it's cool..
and they just sit there, basically asking people to come and hug them.
I would..

I really want to have a dog, but as many of you know (if you read my blog :p) i never could get a dog in my childhood and due to studies and stuff. I don't know when i can get a dog. oh well!!

Hoi!!
Hoe gaat het!! Eindelijk een plaats om iets te schrijven zonder dat een docent het gaat lezen en foutjes te verbeteren.
Dat is, als de docent niet mijn blog heeft gevonden!!

Dit wordt een soort mengsel van Nederlands en Engels, hoop ik. Hierdoor kan ik Nederlands oefenen, en misschien aan het eind van deze zomer kan ik goed schijven zonder alles twee keer na te lezen.

Yup, 18 Euro onbeperkt naar de film!!! Ongelooflijk!!



Maar nu, niks veels te schrijvan apart van de feit dat ik een kamer aan het zoeken ben!! Dus als iemand een kamer heeft in delft, denk aan mij!!!!

Hello All,

All i can say life has been shit... wel not really that bad.. but it hasn't really gone well... Well to plan, so that means i was expecting most of what was going to happen.

I supposed many of you can understand why for a long time i've neglected to write in this small page i call my blog. In Madmans words, my own little plot of Internet. It's safe to say that my flowers have died of not being watered.

I've moved to The Netherlands, my land, where i come from. It is where my passport says i come from. My blood runs halfway through the dirt only to realise that the nutrients don't really work well. Think a new printer cartrage in the printer to my life story, when new it takes time before it works properly. Trail and error.

I've learned to speak my own language!! Mostly. After two courses, i'm getting far. I've made a few friends and i'm happy to say that everyfriday you can see us at the local pub. I cherish these moments, they actually make me feel at home.

I'm living at my Godfathers place, and God bless him, his wife and him have been really kind and hospitible, i can't think them enough and i hope that i've not been to much of a slob. I TRY MY BEST!!

I miss My Family, Madman, My friends and finally but not least.. My Jeep, the Key to the Highway.. It always was there to make me feel better, to lift my spirits. Now, helaas i don't have that luxury..... Although i have a bike!!! The photo is below..

Music has been really the only thing keeping me alive. Now i can really say that i know how it feels to be dependant on music, something like Justin in his early days in Aussie. One day i took a seat on a bench by the canal, and i just listened to Remember by Jimi.

Jethro Tull and RHCP have been also big helps.. Thanks to them..

Two more things.. I got a deal from the movie theaters. for 18 Euro i can watch as many movies as i want!!!
And hopefully i'm going with my dad to the northsea Jazz festival. I really miss my dad..

Hey Everyone!!

Today i was supposed to go with my aunt to renew my driver license because i can't drive, but apparently she had a bit of a problem with her plumbers apointment and we had to postpone it until tommorrow. So i had a day free, since i can't drive anywhere, i had plans but i guess it just has to wait.

Instead of sitting at home i went to the Curve and met up with 'Dina and Qut' and 'Naina and Geresh(sp?)'. Yes, for people who noticed, i was the odd one out. But i didnt' mind, more focus on the movie.



We watched Valkyrie, which is a movie about a plot to assasinate Adolf Hitler and overthrow the Nazi govermnet. This coup was let by a group of resistance fighters who had positions within the war ministry. In the end i thought it was a very interesting movie with a lot of Historical facts and info. They even got Hitler portrayed pretty nicely, since in 1943 he was suffering from Parkinsons, if i'm not mistaken, and in the movie he was moving slowly and looked like he was suffering from parkinsons. Ofcourse, i'm not doctor but all that i've learnt over the second world war was in the movie and i liked pointing it out to the couple sitting next to me.



I think the main fact abou the movie is that even within Germany during the war, a lot of people didn't like what was happening and what was being done by Hitler.

As i was talking to my uncle from my dad's side, who is now living in Utrecht in The Netherlands, my grandfather went through the war and came out with many scars. Apparently i have learnt that he was sent to a BMW factory close by Berlin to produce airplane engines for the war. It was kind of like a labour camp i guess. But either way, like many people, he didn't come out of it quite the same.
He was freed by the Russians in 1945, and apparently they didn't' give him a good time also. So yeah, i would love to learn more about my grandfather, and going over there to meet all my dad's family members sure should help.
Rest In Peace Opa.

So, tomorrow i should be able to get my drivers licence redone so i can start driving again. I really want to go over to Cheras to see Sam. She's leaving on the 24th, which is very sad.

So 'Qut and Dina' and 'Naina and Geresh(sp?)', that's a bunch for inviting me to the little outing. It was fun and i hope we can do this again before i leave.
Gongrats Qut on getting imperial.

Well i had to do a Valentine special, that's because i actually have time to do a special, due to the fact i'm at home instead of taking a girl out. Sad no.. Well i don't really care!! XD

One reason why, is because i don't have many memories that i cherish that have to do with valentines. It has always been just a day where life goes on, nothing spacial happens and I'm still with the big bachelor crowd, of which Madman is a constant member.

When it comes to my love life, I've never really been really lucky. Time just moves along and i go ahead, even though having someone to be with could really help with some aspects of life. But i guess God is leaving it till later!! At least that's what i want to believe.

I pray that The Netherlands will have something for me!!

(I'm the perfect Modern Romeo!! May I flooded with girl in the future!!)

Well, enough of my self pity.. I want to take this time to send out a Happy Valentine to my good friends living in KL. Samantha and Chern, hope you guys stay together for ever and ever. Shaq and his girlfriend, all the best dude!!! Qut and Dina, we all know about it!! My Mom and Dad, may your love flourish for ever more. And to any other couple out there that i know, don't want to miss print anything.

So good luck with you guys and be happy with your life and cherish each other on this special day!!

Well hello everybody!!
Here is a small update since last time i wrote a blog entry, which was last Sunday.

Anyway, since then nothing much has happened. On Monday i didn't do much, just sitting at home brooding about my university application. I've been sitting at home doing just about nothing lately, which is very bad because i really need to hit the gym, i'm starting to gain a bit of weight, which is not good. Remember my goal is to loose weight before i leave to The Netherlands. Boy, i'm really rambling now. Just like the way the words move when i'm typing. Lol

On Tuesday i did a bit more than usual, i went out in the evening to Mega Mall to meet up with some college friends. It was supposed to be a gathering for all the students in the class, but as expected not many showed, some getting ready for valentines day. For the people who are reading this, you know who you are!!! so basically we went to chillis and had a great time just eating good food and talking about stuff. Mostly what we're going to do in the next coming months. Kimberley is going to Stanford (just to annoy Madman), Karmun is going to Oxford (Congrats) and Cham isn't so sure yet, as is Henry.

After the very enjoyable meal, we went to the top floor and decided to go bowling. Kim didn't join us but she was a very enthusiastic cheerleader during the time she was there. I started out very bad, getting a couple nils, but i caught up at the end. In the end Karmun won me by one point, followed by Henry and Cham. It was really fun.

After bowling, at this time Kimberley had already left, we went to play pool and brew-ball, which was also really fun because i totally underestimated Karmun and Cham's skillz. They really do get things right in calculation, no wonder they're going to high up Unis.

This will probably be the last time i can really spend time with them, i am leaving in March. Kimberley and the rest will leave much later because they don't have stuff to do in Europe and America till then, unlike me..

So if you any of my classmates are reading this, take care and make sure we stay in touch. You never know in 20 years time we'll all be together having dinner!!
